IceStone, LLC Adds PaperStone Surfaces to its Countertop Collection

March 20, 2015- IceStone LLC, the Brooklyn based manufacturer of recycled glass countertops is now the exclusive Northeast distributor of PaperStone™ composite surfaces. Made in the USA using 100% post consumer recycled paper and PetroFree ™ resin, PaperStone ™ is a durable and highly versatile sustainable surface material.

PaperStone offers a number of benefits to consumers and design professionals:

  • NSF certified as safe for direct food contact when used as a food preparation surface
  • Certified to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards by the SmartWood/Rainforest Alliance program
  • Can contribute LEED points for MR and IEQ credits.
  • Made in Hoquiam, WA
PaperStone is the first product IceStone will distribute but not manufacture, and its arrival marks a new era in the company’s history. “Distributing PaperStone is a natural fit,” says IceStone President Jana Milcikova. “Our customers are looking for sustainable surfaces, and we have the expertise and partnerships to provide them with the best options available on the market. We’re looking forward to expanding our green building material portfolio, and PaperStone is a perfect complement to our own line of products.”
