Modern Surfaces takes Orlando for KBIS 2017
IceStone joins PaperStone and Durat to form a coalition of sustainable creators
After the success of Modern Surfaces at Greenbuild 2016, the sustainable and stylish collaboration brings their booth to The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Orlando, Florida on January 10th through the 12th.
Modern Surfaces was formed in 2015 as collaboration between like-minded surface brands that believe in providing material that is not only beautiful, but also an eco-friendly alternative to natural stone. Modern Surfaces is not only a network of inventors, artists and manufacturers, but Creators, passionate about transformation and individual expression. Every material brought under the Modern Surface umbrella has been carefully selected for their devotion to uniqueness, utility of consumer and industrial waste and improving life beyond concept and application over the long term. Modern Surfaces currently contains the recycled glass and concrete based IceStone, recycled paper and bioresin PaperStone and recycled post-consumer plastic based Durat.
The Modern Surfaces booth at KBIS 2017 will feature a newly updated display, which will include new prints, display samples and giveaways. The Modern Surface booth will be located at S5878. The IceStone section of the Modern Surface’s booth also will feature a live demo of Genie, an augmented reality app which allows architects, designs and homeowners to sample products using images captured with a smart phone or tablet. Genie will be making their first appearance at KBIS 2017, collaborating with founding brands IceStone, SapienStone and Stikwood.
