Does Happiness Make You Grateful or Does Gratitude Make You Happy?

Actually science has a clear answer on this one. Being grateful – for things large and small – has the power to make us happier. We at IceStone, like so many others, have had a rough year.  Keeping our employees and their families safe while keeping our factory in Brooklyn afloat, has been tough.

But we are grateful.

We are grateful for the work of so many to keep us safe from disease and for those who have helped our neighbors and loved ones recover.

We are grateful for the teachers who adapted, innovated, and generally figured stuff out so that our kids would learn about being resilient.

We are grateful for the many customers who have stuck with us as we weather yet another storm.

We are grateful for our workers who masked up and marched back to work when our doors reopened.

We are grateful for the many men and women who show, design, spec, measure, fabricate and haul our creations. We literally could not do it without you.

We are grateful for all those companies and individuals who are just as committed to the circular economy as we are. Diverting 17 million pounds of glass out of the waste stream requires a lot of help.

Yep, we have a lot to be grateful for. So it is with a happy heart that, on behalf of all of us at IceStone, we wish you and your family a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
