Job Description: Regional A&D Sales Representative

The A&D Sales Representative will position IceStone with key A&D firms, and other target customers, such as (General Contractors, Developers, Retailers, and other strategic partners), resulting in specification of IceStone products on a wide range of projects. The region of focus will be the NYC metro market; however, the Regional Sales Representative will have influence on all sales initiatives throughout the Northeast Territory. This representative will become an expert on getting IceStone products specified, and will build strategic relationships with key influencers/specifiers in order to facilitate this goal. This person will also be responsible for maintaining and deepening current relationships with other target customers, including, but not limited to, facilitating periodic set up, check ins, and maintenance with these customers. This position is focused mainly in the field, however, will require internal presence for general team coordination and collaboration. The Regional Sales Representative will report to the Director of Sales & Customer Service.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in developing and carrying out of sales strategy
  • Development of product specification
  • Maintaining IceStone products on specification throughout entire sales cycle
  • Participating in weekly sales meetings
  • Opportunity/account management
  • Setting up customer visits with target customers
  • The ability to answer technical customer service questions
  • Getting educated on new products
  • Giving presentations on all IceStone products and possible new products to target customers
  • Recording activity in Salesforce.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Relevant experience in industry sales
  • Talent for prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well on teams
  • Social dexterity; comfortable speaking to a variety of customer types
  • Ability to follow up and follow through
  • Must have a sense of humor
  • Quick learner
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Salesforce.com software experience is a plus
  • Local NYC resident preferred
  • Having a personal vehicle preferred
